English Ivy - Hedera helix

The English Ivy (Hedera helix) is a broadleaf evergreen groundcover or climbing vine for sun or shade. Tolerant of a variety conditions and very vigorous. This is a great plant for urban conditions where it can be kept from naturalizing. Extremely invasive species in zone 6 and up. Particularly in the Southeast should only be used with extreme caution. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
