Toyon - Heteromeles arbutifolia

The Toyon (Heteromeles arbutifolia) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant resembles a holly in flower berry and even leaf, but can develop and single trunk more like a traditional tree. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
