Rose of Sharon - Hibiscus syriacus

The Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) is a large deciduous flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens and borders. This plant has prolific flowers all summer long, is easy to grow and drought tolerant. The species can reseed and become invasive in zones 7 and up. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
