Japanese Raisin Tree - Hovenia dulcis

The Japanese Raisin Tree (Hovenia dulcis) is a small to medium sized flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant has large clusters of white flowers that form a small berry. The berry ripens and becomes sweet after first frost. The species can reseed and become invasive in zone 7 and up. The native species is most common in production.
