Hidcote Hypericum - Hypericum 'Hidcote'

The Hidcote Hypericum (Hypericum 'Hidcote') is a small deciduous flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has bright yellow flowers that repeat through summer if pruned. The flower is more persistent in the heat than other varieties and the seed seems to be sterile. The branches will develop dead wood if it is sheared rather than hand pruned. This is a cultivated variety of Hypericum.
