Castle Spire® Blue Holly - Ilex x meservae 'Hachfee'
The Castle Spire® Blue Holly (Ilex x meservae 'Hachfee') is a pyramidal broadleaf evergreen tree for landscapes and gardens. Blue Hollies are one of the hardiest evergreen species. This variety keeps a nice tight pyramidal shape and is good to use where people use larger hollies and shouldn't. It also does well in a container. This plant may require winter watering in drier winters. This plant also requires a male to pollinate for berries. 'Castle Wall®' is a great companion that will blend into a hedge. This plant is a trademarked culitvated variety of Ilex x meservae with a patent held by Proven Winners®.
