Castle Wall™ Blue Holly - Ilex X meservae 'Heckenstar'
The Castle Wall™ Blue Holly (Ilex X meservae 'Heckenstar') is a pyramidal broadleaf evergreen tree for landscapes and gardens. Blue Hollies are one of the hardiest evergreen species. This variety keeps a nice tight pyramidal shape and is good to use where people use larger hollies and shouldn't. It also does well in a container. This plant is a male so it doesn't produce berries. It is however the perfect pollinator for Ilex x meservae 'Castle Spire®' This plant is a trademarked culitvated variety of Ilex x meservae with a patent held by Proven Winners®.
