Brazilian Rosewood - Jacaranda mimosifolia

The Brazilian Rosewood (Jacaranda mimosifolia) is a large deciduous flowering tree for warm climate gardens and landscapes While in bloom, this plant is a show stopper with large purple flowers for several months a year. This plant requires consistent moisture, and ALL PARTS of this plant are POISONOUS. It is also extremely thorny. The native species is most common in production.
