California Walnut - Juglans californica

The California Walnut (Juglans californica) is a medium sized shade and nut producing tree for landscapes and gardens. This is a native variety to California that handles the Pacific Winds better than other Walnuts. Walnuts produce a toxin that can prevent certain plants from growing beneath them. The native species is most common in production.
