Alligator Juniper - Juniperus deppeana

The Alligator Juniper (Juniperus deppeana) is an upright canopy producing evergreen native to the Southwest. This is a very nice specimen to add to Eastern gardens as well. It is named for the scaly looking bark. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
