Oneseed Juniper - Juniperus monosperma

The Oneseed Juniper (Juniperus monosperma) is a pyramidal coniferous evergreen native to the Southwestern United States. This variety is a very tough, heat and drought tolerant plant. It is ideal for naturalizing, but the needles AND thorns make it miserable in the garden. This plant is VERY prickly! The native species is most common in production.
