Rocky Mountain Juniper - Juniperus scopulorum
The Rocky Mountain Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum) is a pyramidal coniferous evergreen native to the Western United States. This plant is ideal for naturalizing, and can tolerate some pruning to keep in a landscape. This plant has no negatives of note. This species is used mainly in hybridizing. There are hundreds of the cultivars in production.
