The Crucifixion Thorn (Koeberlinia spinosa tenuispina) is a medium sized flowering tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing native to the desert Southwest. The flower show on this plant is extremely attactive, and the texture is really nice in winter. However, it needs to be in a place where it never needs touched. This plant is like a giant ball of thorns and impossible to handle. The native species is most common in production.
