Beautybush - Kolkwitzia amabalis

The Beautybush (Kolkwitzia amabalis) is a large flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens, and borders. This is one of the old garden favorites. It blooms a little later than most of the larger flowering shrubs. This plant has become an invasive species and naturalized in KY, MA, MI, PA, UT and VT. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
