Common Crape Myrtle - Lagerstroemia indica

The Common Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica) is a small flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This species is often planted for the persistent summer flower and exfoliating bark in winter. Some varieties of this species are extremely vulnerable to mildew. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
