Western Larch - Larix occidentalis

The Western Larch (Larix occidentalis) is the largest of the deciduous evergreen conifers for landscapes and naturalizing. This plant is native to the western United States and thrives in wet, well drained soils. This variety gets too large for most residential situations. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
