Creosote Bush - Larrea tridentata

The Creosote Bush (Larrea tridentata) is a medium sized to large broadleaf evergreen shrub native to the deserts of the Southwest. This plant has year round foliage, and a flower that lasts from spring until fall. It is a good naturalizer as it spreads by root. Because of the recurring blooms this plant is often seeding at the same time and can look a little rough. The native species is most common in production.
