True Laurel, Bay Laurel, Sweet Bay - Laurus nobilis
The True Laurel, Bay Laurel, Sweet Bay (Laurus nobilis) is a medium sized to large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. This is the bay leaf of culinary use and makes a nice evergreen specimen in the landscape. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
