Black Twinberry - Lonicera involucrata

The Black Twinberry (Lonicera involucrata) is a flowering deciduous shrub ideal for borders and naturalizing that is native to the Western United States. This plant has a very fragrant flower in spring, but has a berry and stem show that is even more vivid in summer and fall. This plant can be very aggressive and needs room to roam. The native species is most common in production.
