Fraser Magnolia - Magnolia fraseri

The Fraser Magnolia (Magnolia fraseri) is a deciduous flowering tree for gardens, landscapes and naturalizing. This is a tall graceful tree with a winding single trunk, giant leaves, and huge white flowers. It has very little branching and works well in a tall space with lots of height to give a nice tropical feel. It is embolic of the Southern Appalachians. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
