The Pink Star Magnolia (Magnolia stellata 'Rosea') is a deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This variety has pink star shaped flowers that are one of the first to emerge in spring. This species blooms a little earlier than native varieties and may get burned by frost. It has escaped into nature and become invasive in parts of Ohio. This is a cultivated variety of Magnolia stellata.
