Loebner Magnolia - Magnolia X loebneri

The Loebner Magnolia (Magnolia X loebneri) is a deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This Magnolia has more of an upright form than most star shaped flowering varieties and a distinctive pink stripe that runs down the outside of the petal. This species blooms a little earlier than native varieties and may get burned by frost. This is a cultivated hybrid Magnolia.
