Longleaf Mahonia - Mahonia nervosa

The Longleaf Mahonia (Mahonia nervosa) is a small shrub or ground covering broadleaf evergreen for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This species has distinctive long leaves in proportion to its height and forms an impenetrable low growing thicket. This plant is extremely prickly and miserable to prune or touch. The native species is most common in production.
