Dawn Redwood - Metasequoia glyptostroboides
The Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) is a large deciduous coniferous tree for landscapes, gardens, and ideal for urban use. This species is extremely hardy, drought and pollutions tolerant, and has a very attractive bark and trunk. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
