Russian Arborvitae, Siberian Cypress - Microbiota decussata
The Russian Arborvitae, Siberian Cypress (Microbiota decussata) is a low growing coniferous shrub for landscapes and gardens. This is a very underrated and underused shrub. It makes an excellent replacement for spreading Junipers and is much more disease and insect resistant. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
