The Mexican Mimosa (Mimosa distachya) is a deciduous flowering tree for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing in the native range. This is a delicate looking tree with showy flowers through most of summer followed by bean-like pods. This plant can reseed and become invasive outside of the native range. The native species is most common in production.
