Candelabra Cactus - Myrtillocactus cochal

The Candelabra Cactus (Myrtillocactus cochal) is a spreading shrub form cactus for landscapes and gardens. This plant has a beautiful upside down candelabra shape. The flower is not showy, but it produces a delicious red fruit that is a favorite of chefs called the Cochal. This plant has spines typical of a cactus, but not as bad as most. The native species is most common in production.
