The Ponytail Palm (Nolina recurvata) is a small broadleaf evergreen palm tree for landscapes and gardens. This plant is most noted for the bulbous base that stores water collected in the leaves for later use. This plant is known for being the motivation for the trees of the Lorax. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
