Alleghany Pachysandra - Pachysandra procumbens
The Alleghany Pachysandra (Pachysandra procumbens) is a broadleaf evergreen groundcover for shady gardens and landscapes, or naturalizing. This is a great native woody groundcover with fragrant but not very showy flowers. This plant does not like mulch around the stems. So mulch lightly between the plants until mass is established. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
