The Japanese Spurge (Pachysandra terminalis) is a broadleaf evergreen groundcover for shady gardens and landscapes, or naturalizing. This is a great native woody groundcover with fragrant flowers that are much showier than the Pachysandra procumbens. This plant does not like mulch around the stems. So mulch lightly between the plants until mass is established. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
