Tibetan Peony - Paeonia lutea 'Ludlowii'

The Tibetan Peony (Paeonia lutea 'Ludlowii') is a tall deciduous flowering shrub ideal for perennial gardens and flower borders. The species has nice foliage similar to Acer japonicum with a light airy shrub habit and impressive flower. This plant doesn't add much structure in shrub plantings. It is best tucked into flower gardens. This is a subspecies of Paeonia lutea.
