Ironwood - Parrotia persica

The Ironwood (Parrotia persica) is a medium sized flowering or shade tree coveted by woodworkers for the wood. This tree has excellent habit and form with incredible bark in the winter. The plant has an interesting flower and nice fall color as well. This is an all around great tree. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
