Oregon Boxwood - Paxistima myrtifolia

The Oregon Boxwood (Paxistima myrtifolia) is a native evergreen shrub found in rocky evergreen woodlands of the Northeast. This is a "natural" looking evergreen with the feel of a boxwood. It is also tolerant of bad soil as long as it is well drained and moist in the winter. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
