Night Blooming Cereus - Peniocereus greggii

The Night Blooming Cereus (Peniocereus greggii) is a medium sized spreading cactus shrub for landscapes, garden and naturalizing in arid locations. This snake like cactus twists and winds its way in day to look somewhat scary only to open large beautiful white flowers for one night only. This plant does have some thorns and the branches break very easily. The native species is most common in production.
