Wild Mockorange - Philadelphus lewisii

The Wild Mockorange (Philadelphus lewisii) is a large, native and fragrant flowering shrub for landscapes , gardens, and naturalizing. The fragrant white flowers come in later than most spring flowering shrubs. This plant does not respond well to pruning and likes to be able to naturalize. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
