Eastern Ninebark - Physocarpus opulifolius
The Eastern Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius) is a medium to large sized deciduous shrub for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This plant has great foliage, fall color and flowers. The bark is exfoliating and gives a Birch-like appearance in winter. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
