Norway Spruce - Picea abies

The Norway Spruce (Picea abies) is a large pyramidal evergreen for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing. This tree has a majestic habit and dark green foliage that is very reliable and native to Northeastern forests. When planted in forests of Red Spruce, this plant can outperform native species and be "invasive". There are more cultivars of this species in production.
