White Spruce - Picea glauca

The White Spruce (Picea glauca) is a large pyramidal evergreen native to Northern forests. It is ideal for landscapes and even tolerates hedging. The very consistent form stays full to the ground even when hedged. The blue to blue green foliage is more vivid in spring and fall. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
