Colorado Blue Spruce - Picea pungens var. glauca

The Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea pungens var. glauca) is a large pyramidal evergreen for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. The pyramidal shape and blue foliage is one the most common of all. The word 'Pungens' comes from the malodorous smell it puts off. Do not use this as a Christmas Tree! There are many hybrids and cultivars of this species in production.
