Chinese Pieris - Pieris formosa var. forrestii
The Chinese Pieris (Pieris formosa var. forrestii) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. The delicate habit, showy flowers, red new growth, and evergreen foliage give the plant year round interest. This species is less cold hardy than Pieris japonica. The native species is most common in production.
