Japanese Pieris - Pieris japonica

The Japanese Pieris (Pieris japonica) is a large broadleaf evergreen shrub for landscapes and gardens. The delicate habit, showy flowers, red new growth, and evergreen foliage give the plant year round interest. This plant needs winter water to prevent die back in colder climates. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
