Bashful Bristlecone Pine - Pinus aristata 'Bashful'

The Bashful Bristlecone Pine (Pinus aristata 'Bashful') is a tiny coniferous evergreen for landscapes, gardens and containers. This cultivar is a tiny version of the parent species rearely exceding one foot in height. The sappy secretion on the needles can make it very sticky and sticks to clothes when touched. The spots are often mistaken for scale. This plant is a cultivated variety of Pinus aristata.
