Japanese Red Pine - Pinus densiflora
The Japanese Red Pine (Pinus densiflora) is a large canopy forming conifer for gardens and landscapes. This variety is planted mainly for the sprawling braches and bright red bark on older specimens. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
