Vanderwolf Pine - Pinus flexilis 'Vanderwolf'

The Vanderwolf Pine (Pinus flexilis 'Vanderwolf') is a small pyramidal conifer for gardens and landscapes. The smaller size makes this more appropriate to be used in gardens and landscapes than Pinus strobus. The blue stripe down the needle also gives a blue cast to the appearance. Flexilis'refers to its limber branches that can break in ice and snow. Occasional selective pruning can prevent this. This is a cultivated variety of Pinus flexilis.
