Western Yellow Pine - Pinus jeffreyi

The Western Yellow Pine (Pinus jeffreyi) is a large upright conifer native to the mountains of the Southwestern United States. While nice and full when young, it can produce large barren trunks with spreading tops over time. This species is often mistaken or Ponderosa Pine. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
