Ponderosa Pine - Pinus ponderosa

The Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) is a large upright conifer used in landscapes and forestry. This is one of the classic all time native pines. It can develop a distinctive flat top after about 60 years. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
