Monterey Pine - Pinus radiata

The Monterey Pine (Pinus radiata) is a canopy producing conifer for landscapes and gardens, found naturally in Southern California. This is the Live Oak of conifers. It gains character with age, but will only grow for a select few. This plant does not tolerate frost. The native species is most common in production.
