Alba White Pine - Pinus strobus 'Alba'

The Alba White Pine (Pinus strobus 'Alba') is a medium sized to large conifer used in landscapes and gardens. This plant is slightly smaller than the species and the new growth comes out very white. Can you say "Pine Tar"? Strobus in Latin does not mean "white" It means "exudes sap". This is a cultivated variety of Pinus strobus. Needle, cone and bark photos are from the parent species for identification purposes.
