The Columnar White Pine (Pinus strobus 'Fastigiata') is a medium sized to large columnar conifer used in landscapes and gardens ideal for screening. The columnar habit makes this plant suitable for tight spaces, foundations and screens. Young trees need tip pruned to prevent ice and snow damage. This is exasperated with shade.
