Scotch Pine - Pinus sylvestris

The Scotch Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is a medium sized conifer used in landscapes, gardens, and ideal for screens and buffers. It is also the most common Christmas Tree. This plant is most often grown and sheared for Christmas tree production, but is also a great plant for borders when allowed to sprawl. This plant has no negatives of note. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
